We enjoyed September’s Omaha Empowerment Breakfast with many new business owners attending. Our main speaker, Paul Madsen, spoke on “From Grief to Growth”, as well as connecting with like-minded individuals to help one through the grieving process. His presentation engaged the attendees, as many in the audience related due to their experiences with grief. Paul talked about his journey through the losses of his adult daughter and wife, within 9 months of each other. He covered steps he went through, from the heartache, pain of loss, to depression, to being empowered through family and friends.
Our Sponsor speaker, T. Jay DiBacco of Wealthmakers, had an interesting and interactive “snappy” presentation, as we snapped our fingers in a rhythm about wealth creation.
Our Sponsor speaker, Terri Smieja of Cinderella’s Formal Gown Rental, educated us about Homecoming attire for high school girls. She showed a couple of sample dresses and spoke about others available in her shop at very affordable rates.
