
Julie Sanford is the founder and owner of Split Second Strategies, an Omaha company teaching active shooter survival training. Julie has a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Julie has spent 11 years as a deputy sheriff in Sarpy County, and several years in security management with a concentration in school and church security. She is passionate about empowering everyone including businesses, families and individuals how to survive an active shooter or violent event.
Julie is an A.L.I.V.E. certified instructor and believes that not enough is being done to teach unarmed citizens how to survive these tragic and increasing events.
Julie is married to her husband Doug of twenty years, and has three beautiful girls, Ashley age 30, Faith age 16 and Kayla age 13. She spends her free time vacuuming up hair from the girls, 1 dog, 2 cats, and 3 guinea pigs.
